Just a quick poll to see who has the game and is thinking about trying a multiplayer game some time.
And yes it is a chance to abuse the poll creation power. ;D

Me like Poll. Smash Mastadon with poll. Rock no work. Make Mastadon mad. After my experience with Baldurs gate series and Multiplayer I can honestly say it's a blast. However lagginess is a real issue sometimes. I played with a group in florida and it wasn't bad. But sometimes I would drop out. No idea if they solved that problem.

How is the character creation and stats? I heard in the first game if you screwed up a stat point on your character, you were literally screwed from that point on.

Haven't seen much problem with stats. I did an experiment where I created a dwarf cleric and shifted everything away from combat gave him a bow just to see how weak he would be and he could hold his own in a battle. Plus the game is running off DaD 3.5 rules so much is improved stats wise Never really looked into the game. dont know much about it. Its basically just dungeon and dragons in a software environment. Its good if you like DaD plus NWN 2 comes with a tool set so you can create your own campaigns aswell. So is good.

I have a halfling Monk. The stats are all over the board but he still does 'okay'. I was in a wierd mood so I dumped points into NON-class stats. hehe. I get a lot of strange options though in conversation sometimes because of his unusually high charisma. lol. Oh.. I made an Orc Sorceror who has no charm or intelligence. He does okay. Could be a hell of a lot better but hey... he's an orc sorceror. lol. Anything you screw completely can be compensated for in my experience.
