Waiting for a review of it from a game site like gamespot or gamespy. I'm hoping they'll come out with a 10 day trial or somethin like that, so I can try it out without spending my hard earned cash.

I like what I read on it.
Richard Garriot's interviews good help to identify how this MMO is unique. I recall him mentioning that live tactical action very big -- real time action stressed.
<<this text is simply my observations, which if wrong, please post -- I'm not a player of this tabula rasa (yet -- maybe in 2008)>>
unique in terain/targeting. He pointed out how many people from first person shooters need to remember it's not about straifing & trying to run & shoot -- rather than use effectively terrain, battlefield objects say a hide behind objects & fire. Dash across the battlefield to next cover point.
--> Said most guns pinpoint target an enemy, the abilities, terrain, tactics make it unique.
My reviews so far make me like the team combat intent. Like strong npc AI (that's artificial intelligence).
The quantity of members on some user website are outrageous big. They said that great care in building a MMO that is advanced with setting cranked up (or lowering settings can keep it fun for those that have older equipment).
Some newgroup posting -- some user was going to get a multibutton mouse -- seems he was surprised at so many real time decisions... so fighting tactical buttons might be real-time faster since using both hands quickly more imporant than say MxO.
---------- So it's seems way more RTS than MxO. Not to say MxO doesn't strike a nice balance but geeze where's all the users in MxO now in late 2007? (ahem, SOE needs to get more aggressive in retaining membership/subs)
Love to hear more what users see in the game. ave
