I was just thinking... we have a few people in open beta. We need to pick a place and time to meet up somewhere. Then we can get the kinship started, add eachother to friend lists, quest, etc... Our HQ in closed beta was the Ivy Bush. Maybe we could meet up there sometime soon. Just wanted to get things kicked off to a good start. PS: list your names and ill add you to my friend list. mine is Nagrod.

Good idea, We should all meet up somewhere anyway, trade stuff around see what skill set we all have etc etc.
until then Just send a buddy invite to ordaran, dwaerlin, gildorr, or keogh and we can invite you in.
Mine are
Gildorr (double r) and Ashleaf

My names are Ordaran, Dwaerlin, and Portman. I've got you in my bubby list Nagrod, but I haven't been logged in at the same time as you to send a kinship invite.

During closed beta we decided on the Ivy Bush Inn which is located in the center of Hobbiton. We can pick a new spot though. For example the basement in the Forbidden Inn east of bree is almost always empty. Few rooms in there. Fairly centrally located. Or we could find a spot in Bree. The elf lands and what not are a bit out of the way.
Post any suggestions here.

Might want to pick a place that is available by horse (through paid stable ride) without having to "discover" so new people can easily get there, or close to one of those towns since there are so few. I can't remember what those places are but maybe Bree is one. I'll try to remember to go by a stable and see what comes up from Garamond.

Bree is quite a lag fest though. That's why we didn't base there in the first place. Plus.. there are people everywhere. Every nook and cranny .. hahaha. Except the Cat lady's house. But that place is full of cats.

Cats? someone say cats? -- matrix is my first online game, i saw LOTRonline on a store shelf, they way i understand it, its looks like $20 for the game and $15 month, that sound right? and does this work the same as the matrix? the meeting place will be like at a hardline?

hehe. Yes.... a whole damn room full. And they used to spill out onto the walkway in beta. haha. It's pretty cool. Yeah. Sounds about right I think. There are recall stones or whatever they are scattered thoughout the land so you can "recall" to the last place you set as "Home". Lots of travelling. Lots and lots. Bring good hiking shoes. hehe.
