flashback visions... Just imagine.
campfire crackling you relax in a low profile chair.
it's an open plain & only the moon & stars light the way beyond the campfire.
So the horses are secured & for you the day is finally done... well except for relaxin' time.
a dust covered cowboy slowly grabs his shinny harmonica.
at first the tune is awkward sounding and then it settles in a catchy tune... you dream of yesteryear when things where simplier.
------- or you can have the typical experience some kid next to you in line at the local BIG-BOX MART is blowing & tooting his $5 buck harmonica... it's aweful & you count the people in line before you can get he hell outta there.
------------- or you sit in a audiorium & have a variety show with harmonica solos...
either way it's all good (well except the middle vision).

hey im back, let me tell you a brief account of the adventure, Yellow Pines Idaho, a small town in the mountains, population 40. during the yellow pines harmonica festival they get near 5000 people, this year a 500thousand acre fire was burning around yellow pines, about 5 miles away, we got lucky we got in and they closed the roads in and out about a half an hour after we got there, unfortuantely for the town this only 250 souls got in ,. But i must say it was nice to have such a small number of people there were plenty of performers, and with such a small crowd it seemed that everyone knew eachother, everyone was so nice, friendly and eager to help and make the festivities a good time for the few that made it,. i took tons of pictures, even of the smoke on the horizon, noone let the fires get us down, we made the absolute best of it, the morning breakfasts sponsered by the town, the firemen even came in to support the fest when they were taking breaks from firefighting, in the mornings the cool air caused the smoke to settle on the town , and ash literaly fell like snow from the skies, but during the day the heat cleared the smoke out, so when night initialy fell the skies were clear and the stars were visible with no light polution to block out the celstial viewing. it was beautiful. when we finaly did leave the only way out was over a road called lick crick pass, at an elevation of 6, 280 feet. the roads were extremely narrow, only room for one vehicle, which made moving over for passing firetrucks quite hairaising considering the 200foot drops down some pretty scary looking ravines. I took tons of pictures, of the firemen who came to relax, the real cowboys, the music events , and the town, what an adventure. I must say tho that for the town they took everything pretty well i mean they had trucked in twenty thousand dollars worth of just food for the event, i know they didnt make it back, and i can imagine that would be hard on a small community of only 40 people, they do plan on having it next year tho, and i did do my best to spend money eating every meal there, supporting the fire dept. and making purchases from the other vendors. i know it wasnt much and my 400$ spent didnt do much but, at least i showed my support. wish you all could have been there, it was an amazing experiance, and amazing people. well i did just get home . only a day early, and am still getting settled but i hope to see you in game soon. well best wishes and pray for the fires near yellow pine to be put out(if thats your thing). I wish i could post pictures it's realy amazing country. Peace Jason.(aka)Montagar

very cool.
thankx for the update!
nice scouting our the local scene.
I wish the MxO had been as exciting as your adventures... alas much in the digital world is about the same as you left it. I data mined new stuff but nothing as exciting as what you experienced.
Oh yeah, I went camping & had fun -- met a mad man with an ax (yeah for reals) but I'll post that somewhere else.
