A friend at work put me on to some great ( well i think they are at least ) cgi animations from Monty Oum. Hope you guys like em. Icarus- A unique gun battle sequence. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbDLfn7wilEDead Fantasy I- A few of the lovely ladies from the Dead or Alive series battle it out with the equally lovely ladies of Final Fantasy X-2. (Something sounds familiar in this one also.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aJHOpKbsaMHaloid- A battle royal between Halo's own Master Chief and Metroid's Samus. Great use of artistic license at the end as well ;D (By now its gotta be obvious that Monty is a Matrix fan) www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9sYixr2miY

I already saw Haloid some time ago, awesome video, in my "classic" list Dead Fantasy is awesome! Though i was cheering for the DOA girls most of the time. especially when Hitomi showed up! "Hitomi, powa-upu!" Table changed when Tifa showed up! "zuruzuru zuruzuru"! Man, Monty Oum rules! ROAD 3 is also good. Check it out, it has a storyline! www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/31229.html

Road 3 was tight. Good plot, the action was real crisp as always with Oum's stuff, and that RSX plug gave me a good laugh. Thanks for the link Dee. (You gotta admit that The Boss has terrible taste in henchmen names though. I mean Bob? Jjuice? Gimme a break.) Monty is really talented. It wouldn't surprise me if he got a role as lead developer. I would buy a game if he came out with one. Hate to say this but I was pulling for Riku and Yuna in dead fantasy. Ya gotta love the underdog. I'm watching the fight and waiting for Payne to show up the whole time and Tifa jumps in out of nowhere. That gave the movie extra awesome points in my book.

BA DA DUUUUM folks! Monty's Dead Fantasy II is OUT! And PLENTY of Materia / Spirit Power involved www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/193489.html-=SPOILERS=- =P I was surprised to see Rachel from Ninja Gaiden and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts pop-up like that, but they were both awesome. Only sad thing is that Rinoa from FFVIII appears, and though I like her, she's... Too powerfull lol. FF crew are 5 against 4, and because of her, it's more like 8 against 4 I finaly seen my dream battle! Tifa VS Hitomi, thanks Monty!!! At this point, I'm waiting to see part III, hoping either Cloud, Zack or Ryu appears, muhuhaha. Oum's great, but there's not enough GUYS in his movies!

I just had a Nerd-Gasm.
EDIT: This is in his description below the movie.
"3. No guys... they're harder to model/find parts for. Don't ask me why. Plus women are more fun (for now)"

Ok I'm calm cool and collected now. Firstly my hat goes off to Mr. Oum big time for this one. I had high expectations for Dead Fantasy II and he really delivered. Tifa rocked and was the hands down star. Between the slow/haste magics, fire walking, and the drunken monk potion battle she stole the spotlight from the other ladies. It was cool to read that his focus is the fans entertainment and it really shows. My only issue with the vid is how unbalanced things got for the DOA gals towards the end. Rinoa is a BEAST and I can't see anyone putting up much resistance 1 on 1. I guess she was thrown in to split the teams up. Adding Kairi (which really caught me off guard considering the vast roster of available females from the Final Fantasy universe) was slick. I'm hoping she will go against Rachel in a David vs. Goliath type battle and Rinoa will just sit on the sidelines. I guess we will just have to wait though.

Yeah, even though they were the beasts in the first one, the DoA girls got nerfed this time. Like Monty said though, this is a weapon battle, and it's hard to find some matching other characters from the DoA universe, comparatively to the FF girls. He thought about giving a knife to Christie, since she's an assassin, but it's not really shown anywhere. Wonder what he'll come up with for DFIII. He sure knows how to surprise us though, so it should go okay. I do hope he finds a way to add guys too. I'm a big fan of ass-kicking girls, but... I dunno, I'd like to see the Buster Sword come into play (either Zack or Cloud handling it, or even Angeal! At least a cameo, he DID give Squall's gunblade to Rinoa, and Sora's Keyblade to Kairi). AND it's more fun to see badass girls kicking guys around rather than other badass girls!

((hey Dee I wanted to modify the poll but couldn't figure out how to sry. The reason why I posted it that way is because of monty's comment on the site about future releases in the series)) "And once you're done watching this, you'll notice I'm far from finished. At least 5 more episodes to follow in this series starting with Dead Fantasy III Rikku Vs Ayane. What was what I felt was perhaps the strongest one was also previously planned as Dead Fantasy IV is now officially moved to Dead Fantasy III and starting production ASAP. The reason for moving it forward was what I learned most when doing this movie as opposed to Dead Fantasy I. I shouldn't be making a movie unless it's something I absolutely love. Yuna Vs Kasumi & Tifa VS Hitomi were a tad weak compared to Rikku VS Ayane, I'll have to let those stew and come back only better before I decide to start production of them. But RIkku Vs Ayane on the other hand is perhaps one of the most powerful visions I've had and needs to be made the sooner the better. You seriously have not seen anything yet. -Monty" (( ohh and I'm wondering who voted the "Huh?" option ))
