Well it looks like Warner have made there first mistake in my opinion! The Lord of The Rings Online will be made Free to Play as of this Autumn. Personally I think this game which has been the best MMO ive played over the last 3 years (MxO was before that  ) is going to start going down hill as Free to Play has the reputation of: This game sucks dont play it. If it was that good wed have to pay. SO thank you Warner again for messing with MMO's! First The Matrix Online and now you have come to Tarnish The Lord of The Rings! Should play DDO since it's Free to play and I've played both LotR and DDO and DDO is 100 times better.

Ok Please stop doing that. Can we not do the whole "Ive played this other MMO which isnt related and is set in a different universe" thing? Im sure DDO is good, but it cannot be compared to Lotr. The same way Lotr can't be compared to a Star wars game. Or Matrix Game. etc etc Dee you made that cartoon ages ago and had something else written in there.  amaright? ANd Ps it was fun to play but you have to be able to get into fellowships and like the franchise I guess. The game is so much better if you have a friend who plays it. So why not try the EU version of the game next time where I can help you out  |

Im going to try DDO when I finsih moving house and get my internet connection fired up again. Karaa make sure you create an EU account though That was the "Silly" of the week? Talk about coincidence! |

There are EU servers and rest of the world servers for DDO. If you choose the rest of the world servers (world thelanis) I can buy ya stuff cheap and get ya equipped fairly well (have a toon that can buy stuff for super cheap) and get ya set up with a million gold to start with. Oh and for anyone who is unfamiliar with D&D and how to build a character here is a character planner that you can use to get familiar with stuff. rjcyberware.com/DDO/DDOCharGen.htmlIf you have any questions on anything about the game just ask. |

I might re-join LOTRO if it's gonna be free, I quite liked it but there was just a big lack of community due to the game being so massive.

I played it on the US servers and as I stated elsewhere in the thread i wasn't impressed. lol now the game that has impressed me is Rift which i just started playing the other day and damn it's fun. Might actually give up DD) (which I've been in for almost 5 years now) for it.
