Im not sure if you guy's know about this but I couldn't find a macro Tutorial on here. So I thought I may as well make one myself heh.
Basic Macro's are ones such as loading a load or putting on clothes and a combination of both if you want.
Always start a macro with.. Obviously
/macro
After you have typed /macro you neeed to give it a name.. Say that I wanted to load up my MKT skill tree I'd do it like this
/macro A-MKT
A stands for Ability's. I just put it there because it's easier to remember and if you wanted a clothing macro for MKT you could use C-MKT.
Before you type another / you need to make sure that you have actually saved an MKT load Or any load you want by using the /savelo command. I saved mine as /savelo MKT
So this is what I would put to create a button/macro for the MKT tree
/macro A-MKT /loadlo MKT
It will load the skills/ability's that you had on when you saved the load using savelo command
That's pretty much basic macro'ing but there are more advanced ones which are extremely useful. Such as decompiling items without having to click the decompiler over and over again. Next one is Clothing
This is what my hotbar looks like with clothing on it. First thing you need for a clothing macro is some space in the hotbar.. Preferably no where near your ability's.
Clothes on a hotbar are similar to ability's on a hotbar. When you click them, they effect you in some way. For clothing macro's. We use the command /use
For my macro here It looks like this
/macro C-Mish /use 2 20; /use 3 20; /use 4 20; /use 5 20; /use 6 20; /use 7 20; /use 8 20
This puts the clothing from slot 1-8 on me. Also you need to add a ; if you want to add something extra... Dunno why you just do.. Always add spaces after the end of a command because they could end up really strange hehe
That's the basics of macro'ing really. Theres nothing more to it but try not to get too in-depth into them as some of them are so complicated they could get you banned. Nobody wants that
I'll take some requests for macro's too. Catzi asked for a decompiling macro which I can explain below.
Let's start off with hotbar 10. You have the decompiler on slot one of hotbar 10. And you have the Macro (which you are about to make) on slot 9 (you may need to move it).. So the macro would start like this..
/macro (name that you want. It doesn't really matter) /use 1 10; /pause 100; /use 9 10
(pauses are 10 per 1 second.. I don't know the decompiler time out so i'll have to check that when I get in-game again)
this will repeat the decompiler over and over again until you type
/cancel
To stop all macro's. The decompiler decompiles whatever your curser is placed on. So be sure! it's place on something you want to decompile. And if you want to decompile a t-shirt or something over and over again. You need to make sure that You keep your mouse on the slot in your inventory the t-shirt is going to appear when you buy it from a vendor. Make sure you move all the bits out of the way so that your not trying to decompile bits...
Hopefully you can get the hang of it.
If you have any problems just t me in game and i'll try help you with it and feel free to add anything below
