hehe, nice clep! How'd that PS3 work out fer ya? (if you don't reply for weeks... we'll know). You are amazingly preceptive Ave, ya called my "untimely" reply well The PS3 is working out pretty well for me. I don't have a vast game library so I cant tell ya much game wise yet but the few I do have ( i think 6 or so) I'm enjoying. The 360's year head start on the P3 kinda shows because as of now most developers crank out there games with the microsoft hardware in mind primarily, then port it over to the PS3. So at times the same tittles look a bit less polished. (But even then the differences are minor.) Also the larger number of tittles available on the 360 make the PS3 offerings, no matter how awesome, look small. It really sucks to be in a game store and ask the sales clerk "Aside form the big blockbusters, what are other must haves for the PS3?" and get a blank stare. ( If anybody has recommendations please let me know) There is hope though. For the most part the added storage space of the blu-ray disc vs. the hddvd's used in the 360 will add up to superior graphic quality and capabilities once the game developers start taking advantage of it. Additionally late 08' and 09' will see ALOT of sweet PS3 exclusives. The 360's days of king of the hill are indeed numbered The standard web browser is pretty zippy. Not as intuitive as IE but once ya get used to it its chill plus you have the option to change it over to another if you so wish. Add the six axis controller (which kinda mirrors the real time movement seen in the Wii controllers), remote play features with the PSP, growing online community and the arrival of sony home and in the long run things are looking WAY up. ((Xrontix, is it just me or is mgs4 online just as good, if not better, than the main game itself?))

Just an FYI. The Nintendo Wii is pwning the market right now, 360 in second and PS3 in last place.

I am Sloop2, a Matrix entity. You probably mean what else my operator, Ann, plays. Hi! This is Ann. Sloop let me know I am needed here. What other games do I play? Nada. I have been an operator in MxO since 2005. I tried a couple other games during free play--SWG and Second Life (it's always free to get in--but you gotta pay to do anything interesting.) SWG, to be kind, is extremely boring and tedious. All I ever talked to were NPCs. So I removed both games, and about all I do now is watch TV from The Matrix. That's all I do, literally. I am brain injured from a car wreck-caused brain smashing and coma. My entire left side is paralyzed, so I am a one-handed, short term memory mess in a power wheelchair. Oh, yes--the question was what else do I play now? Well, FreeCell and Windows XP Pinball. I am easily amused. When you don't remember yesterday very well--everything is new!!

So, as of September 16th 2009, almost a year and a half after the thread first started, what games are you NOW up to? For my part I'm kinda in a blackhole at the moment. There doesn't seem to be any interesting games out lately, and with the closing of MxO, I am left going back to old games. I completed Red Alert 2 once more, Resident Evil 5 too (even though the ending was lame), halo 3, dead or alive 4 and left4dead. But if I would have to suggest you guys one game to top them all (and I mean all), I would say go for Saints Row 2. Probably the best and most hilarious time I've had with a game in yeaaars! I know it might look pretty normal with the reviews and screen shots, but TRY it and I guarantee you a really good time But for now I am looking forward to Diablo III and The Old Republic, and I may give NHL10 a try soon. So how about you guys?

Answer 1: Due to a self imposed game ban designed to give me more study time I haven't been playing many games at all these past 8 months. My little brother picked up a Wii awhile back and has Smash Brawl which is cool. I played it with him maybe twice but haven't touched a console game besides that. Its a huge accomplishment seeing as I easily have 60+ PS2 games. I play a few flash based games or text based mmo's here or there but that too is few and far between. If I get real desperate I will play either Star Trek Elite Force 2 or Star Trek Bridge Commander on the PC for a bit just to ease my no video game blues. ( I AM IN NO WAY A TREKKIE, just a minor Star Trek fan with mild denial issues ) Answer 2: I think in 90 days this God awful no gaming situation will change in a big way. I'm still on course for a July return to MXO. (hold your applause people ) Further I will be picking up a PS3 on June 12th. Why so specific you ask? www.destructoid.com/mgs4-ps3-bundle-has-everything-you-need-including-backwards-compatibility-72509.phtmlFunny thing is I already brought GTA4 for the PS3 but at this moment I don't own the console. Good thing is my patience paid off big time and since my birthday is the day before I will be getting a PS3 (which has a built in blu-ray player so I can watch House in high def) and an EPIC game all on my family and friends dollars. Hooray for being frugal. Now if you all don't know about Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - the latest installment of arguably the greatest series in console gaming history, allow me to get you up to speed. www.gametrailers.com/player/34384.htmlohh you want more? ok here www.gametrailers.com/player/21582.htmlI'm pretty sure that this game won't help MXO's population issues this summer huh? MAJOR RESPECT RIGHT THERE DUDE! I went back to Galaxies with dee to try and cure my MMO withdrawal. Ive played Lotro. And am in earth eternal beta. Metal Gear Online is IMMENSE! PSN Thread anyone?
