Great information to have, thanks Pylat. I don't have any questions at the moment, but I'm sure I'll have something for you down the line.

Also, a good point to bring up on that note is to keep an eye on the tactics you are using when people are trying to interlock you. Most MA's/Gunmen switch to grab tactic when trying to burst someone else's shield. Using grab is all well and good if you remember to switch back to speed or block when getting ready to defend your own shield...if someone hits you trying to break your combat evasion and you have the grab attack active, you can almost guarantee that your shield will be broken on your opponent's first attempt.
I definitely agree with Pylat's tactic and have been using it for a long time now. Other than hackers, Riflemen have the highest chances of rooting your opponent, but you can augment your root duration/chance with clothing or buffed weapons for those who are not in those styles.

At the start of duels people will usually go straight at your shield, sit on block tactics and the moment they have a go change to grab and hit their shield, your's will survive and you will bust their's. Now you have about 10 seconds of them still breaking your shield where you can state them and IL them at your leisure.
Opening IL with WDD + Dim Mak, FAR, Duel Pistol Point Blank or Tomo Nage etc etc is a great way to win a duel before ever really started.

Question...On certain enhanced guns you will find an augment stating something like (10% Chance) 8 to 10. What does that mean? I have a bunch of guns with those types of buffs on them.

I assume that means it has a 10% chance of doing an extra 8 to 10 damage on top of the base damage that the gun already does.

Yeah, pretty much, but I much prefer having DOT damage on guns, mainly cause it can interrupt attacks.

Alright, that's what I thought...I'd just never seen it published before. Personally, I prefer guns with Stun or Powerlessness chance.

Damage Over Time....like my hacker attacks that hit them with say 150 damage every few seconds for a set period of time.
Plague Zone 1 and 2, Code Infection, and Infect Area are some DOT attacks.

What would be the ultimate Evade Combat Outfit?
plus the low level evade combat with guassion blurr works well i heard, but i noticed theres a higher level evade combat too that effects everyone in a close proximity, does that add to the first two abilities i use?

Not sure, I think it would at least consist of the Squad Leader's Shirt (+4% Combat Evasion) and the Coward's Pants.

Gaussian Blur and stacks with the other ability, but still, that will only survive 3-4 goes at your shield on grab tactics. Maybe you could look at the moves in the spy tree that help you exit interlock.

I think Widow's Moor wool adds to evade interlock, not sure though.
