Summer is almost at a close, labor day is coming and Jerry Lewis is ordering his tux. Summer TV has a habitual habbit of low ratings, but that's cuz people tend to not watch over the summer and since EVERYONES ratings are down we get to see some crazy stuff. Good or bad, like or hate, gota admit it usually hosts some zany and maybe experimental shows.
But enough about summer, fall is almost here and that means the new fall season is about to start. But what shows should I add to my list for fall tv? Heres what I see so far....
Big Bang Theory Anchorwoman Power of 10 Viva Laughlin When Woman Ruled the World Back to You New Amsterdam Dancing with the Stars The Next Great American Band American Idol Kid Nation Moonlight Survivor China CSI Shark Rules of Engagement Pushing Daisies Cavemen Samantha Who? Carpoolers Bionic Woman Chuck Law n Order Las Vegas Heroes Real Time with Bill Mahar Weeds
thats a good start, but i'm sure theres more to add to my dvr list. Got a riduculous amount of channels from cable (U.S. tv), so i'm up for checking out most anything. Maybe there's some shows in other countries i can check out via the internet too. What are the rest of you gona watch or atleast check out???

About the only things I have a real interest in are Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, My Name is Earl, Trailer Park Boys, Office, and Mythbusters.
I'll probably watch an episode of Bionic Woman but unless it knocks my socks off I doubt I'll be a loyal viewer. Cavemen? I don't know. The commercials were marginally funny the first thousands times but a whole weekly show? *shrug* The one about the band thing sounds interesting. Sick of crime dramas. They should remake Police Squad. lol.
Many of those I've never heard of.

Yea Cavemen is from the geico comercials, high hopes for this one but their first pilot bombed and producers started over. Yea i really like that Mythbusters. think i missed a rescent one where they tested out the theorie of baseball, like corked bats. Any idea if they got new episodes coming this fall? Burn Notice i wasnt familar with, but when i looked it up that was this summer. Looked interesting and if it comes back on sindication in chronological order i'll definatly like check it out. Unless its like Mythbusters where every show stands on its own. House? GREAT show, i wish i could watch that more often but i get really squimish watching any hospital shows, thats why I didnt have it on my list, but i highly recomend it. Theres a spinoff of Grays Anatomy coming and i didnt list that one either. American Idol? ah come on! *hugs* my original list is mostly the major networks, lot of cable channels have their own but i havnt found many yet. found one on showtime though while watching Big Brother After Dark . Brotherhood on Showtime. One of the most critically praised series of last year and honored with a prestigious Peabody Award in the Entertainment Series category - the only cable series to be recognized in the category - BROTHERHOOD is set against the disparate worlds of politicians and mob bosses and examines the balance between good and evil. Set in a fictional Irish neighborhood in Providence, Rhode Island, known as "The Hill," the series revolves around the Caffee brothers, who despite being on opposite sides of the law, are determined to protect the neighborhood and what is theirs by any means necessary. www.sho.com/site/brotherhood/home.do?source=shocom_navIf the Simpsons have new episodes i'll be checking that out too. Big Brother started in July but since it does overlap into the fall season i'll add that one too. We'll be down to 7 houseguests next week and it'll be in Sept.

I wish I had time to watch TV.
It's sad when I'm too busy to either watch TV & play much MxO.
I'll try to catch Bionic Woman, should be good laugh -- it's a comedy right?
Lots of women shows actually: AnchorWOMAN When Woman Ruled the World American Idol -- women mostly what that right? Survivor China -- chicks & married folks watch that right? Cavemen -- woman, you sit. I caveman. -- HOT show for women Pushing Daisies -- ?? gotta be a women's show (can you imagine a guy telling his friends, hey guys let's rush home & watch Pushing Daisies, crotch scratch, yeah, or or yeah there's baseball -- said back in a manly tone) Rules of Engagement -- chick program fer sure Kid Nation -- yeah chick programing, maybe married guys get sucked into watching it... Honey can I rub your back while we both watch Kid Nation?? (damm, TV used to be entertaining not so educational) Viva Laughlin -- chicks gone wild?
guy program: New Amsterdam -- if it's realistic. girl flick if a travel guide
hmmm, I need a vacation to Amsterdam, that place rock!

I usually wait for the TV Series I like to come out on DVD then I buy them and watch them on my own time. yea i've done that too before i got a dvr. Like, i got Lost 1st season and picked up the first season of 24, i didnt get to see how it ended yet. maybe we could trade if i could transfer them to a file somehow. Avery... um... hehehehehe i duno but if you want a chick show, Don't forget to check out the "I Want to be a SoapStar". soapnet.go.com/shows/soapstar4/splash.htmlAnchorwoman aired yesterday and i for one wasnt sure to laugh or gasp in horror. it was mostly both as this blonde bomshell shows us all why we need more woman to look UP to and why men have a hard time respecting us in a professional setting. Overall i found it entertaining, and if you hated Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's series "Simple Life" you probably won't enjoy "Anchorwaman" www.fox.com/anchorwoman/Unfortantly it looks as though it got cancelled within 24 hours after airing! www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3i83352343336933eb604d4a7e4abb9661One i think i enjoyed more, and went into many giglefits, is " Who wants to be a superhero" on the SciFi Channel. Started over a month ago and will roll into September on Thursdays. Kinda like one of those "survivor" spinoffs (start off with about dozen contestants and eliminate one every week) , but in a comicbook superhero setting. heres a link to catch the episodes on their websight www.scifi.com/superhero/episodes/index.phpAnd finally, i got the previlage to check out the pre-release pilot of " Chuck". i friggin LOVED it, and its getting alot of positive buzz. Its got the comical appeal of Monk with the 2 lead characters that have great chemistry, the action of 24 without being over the top, and quality production. I was also pleased by the suporting cast. My review would have to be 2 thumbs and a /dance3!

Kid NationAt first glance, Kid Nation didnt look like something that interesting. 40 kids living under the direction of reality tv. But after seeing the FULL trailer, this looks extremely intruging! I know they're under adult supervision, but they really do take a step back to let the kids do their thing. ** www.cbs.com/primetime/kid_nation/** and now this.... a news report right from the same station that's going to air it... 40 Kids have 40 days to build a new adult-free life in Bonanza City, New Mexico… and do whatever CBS producers tell them to do. (Courtesy CBS) CBS filmed 40 kids, ages 8-15, turn a ghost town into their new home for 40 days all in the name of reality television show "Kid Nation." The kids will cook their own meals, clean their own outhouses, haul their own water and even run their own businesses. Through it all, CBS claims they'll cope with homesickness, peer pressure and the urge to break every rule they've ever known. The much-anticipated show is slated to debut in this fall. However, the network as well as the parents of these kids are coming under intense scrutiny. Apparently, the parents of the children signed away their rights to sue the network and the show's producers if their child died, was severely injured, or contracted an STD during the program's taping. The document can be seen at: thesmokinggun.com. After reviewing a copy of the document, The New York Times reported parents had agreed to allow their kids to "do whatever they were told to do by the show's producers, 24 hours a day, seven days a week or risk expulsion from the show." The parents also signed forms which gave consent to CBS and its production partners to make medical decisions on the minor's behalf (including surgery), though the network made no promises about the "qualifications or credentials" of medical professionals that might treat the kids. "Kid Nation" participants were paid $5000 (a kick in the nuts after taxes), though some earned $20,000 bonuses for better performances. Now, the New Mexico attorney general's office said Thursday that it is launching an investigation into whether CBS broke state Child Labor laws during filming. Officials from the Department of Workforce Solutions have said that the production company did not follow standard procedures when it denied them access to the set three times to investigate work permit issues. Moreover, in May, an anonymous tip came that children "were unattended" and four children had accidentally "drank bleach" while one was "burned in her face with hot grease." Good times. In a statement, CBS says, "The few minor injuries that took place were all treated immediately and by professionals."

Survivor China: Bodog has released opening lines for Survivor Odds
The new competition unleashes yet another wacky group of castaways on an ancient south central province of Jiang Xi, China where they are prepared for adventure, danger, hook-ups, as well as alliance making and breaking… all in the hopes of becoming the ultimate Survivor.
Poker pro Jean-Robert Bellande is among the castaways. Will he know when to bluff and when to fold when it comes to evil Survivor trickery? Other contenders include a chicken farmer, lunch lady, former model, hiking guide, teacher, surf instructor, waitress, flight attendant, jeweler, grave digger and as usual, the token Christian radio talk show host.
Who will win Survivor China?
* Aaron 7/1 * Amanda 15/1 * Ashley 7/1 * Chicken 15/1 * Courtney 13/1 * Dave 12/1 * Denise 8/1 * Erik 10/1 * Frosti 12/1 * Jaime 11/1 * James 9/1 * Jean-Robert 18/1 * Leslie 13/1 * Peih-Gee 10/1 * Sherea 12/1 * Todd 15/1
