Recruitment Rules as of April 14, 2013
1: We want Mature people. Maturity has nothing to do with age.
2: Sense of humour mandatory. ;D
3: Registration on the forums is REQUIRED.
4: Helps if you are in a game we play but it is not required at all. This is more about community than "gaming to pwn" in our eyes.
That's about it for the general stuff.
The Matrix
This applies to the Matrix roleplay, emulator project, and all other things Matrix related.
ALL REDPILLS FROM ALL ORGANIZATIONS (factions) ARE WELCOME HERE!
NEW OR VETERAN!!
Sorry about the all caps but I wanted to make that clear.
It's not about Zion, Merovingian, Machine, EPN, Cypherite, etc, etc. It's about the Matrix. All are welcome as long as there is respect.
****Important: Please Read This Part****
If roleplaying in Heart o' the City for a MATRIX thread it would be nice if new folks role played out, with an active member, getting recruited into a current hovercraft if you want to be part of an existing fleet. Most of us here at the time of this post are still hopelessly stuck in the Matrix. It is also not a rule or required. It just makes sense that new people (or programs) would be recruited into a hovercraft and not just appear in one of the established fleets with a long history.
This of course does not apply to independent redpills or other fleets just arriving on the forums. Just the established ones already here.
If in doubt in regards to Role Play recruiting refer to the posts below the current rule set. Since MxO is no longer around as a commercial game some of those rules are obsolete.
I'm just going to state the obvious. Everyone here is mostly sane, generally mature, and rather helpful when they can be. The language we use is English but it is not the first language of everyone here. Please keep that in mind. Personally I admire anyone who can speak/write in more than one human language.

ORIGINAL RECRUITING RULES FOR THE MATRIX ONLY
=============================================
(Two posts for this. One for The True Believers just below this bit and another for the Pride in a follow-up post. The Pride and the Believers are very different organizations. The Pride are more moderate ZIONITES. They are also the larger of the two groups. The Believers are fanatical followers of MORPHEUS, also known as NEONITES, and as a result are a much smaller group. Please keep this in mind when entering MATRIX threads either as a member of the fleets or an independent redpill. For further information please refer to the "Who Are ....?" threads in Heart o' the City.)
Matrix Maximum Crew Totals (added feb 8, 2013)
The maximum number of redpills per hovercraft was 12 in MxO. I think this is a good number but again isn't written in stone. We are very flexible here about things like this. But for RP purposes I believe we should stick to the original plan in MxO. A crew of fifty on one craft isn't a fleet and I think 12 redpills is a good number for the larger hovercraft. Generally hovercraft in the movies had fewer than that. Around six chairs from the most part and a couple freeborn that take care of the ship.

The True Believers (MxO)
Recruiting rules for each ship is up to the Captain of that hovercraft. However the recruit MUST check in with the current commander of the fleet. Which is Skyscream at this time.
Hovercraft may ONLY be recruited by the Commander of the Fleet. We don't want another situation where the ships outnumber the active members. Generally speaking new Hovercraft are NOT recruited. However if an entire Crew wishes to join that's something that can be discussed
Redpills with a minimum level of ten are preferred. Lower levels are prone to either quit or make a new character. Harsh I know.. but I'd like to avoid having a revolving door on our hovercraft.
OOC: SPIES READ HERE!! If you are a ROLEPLAY spy make sure to inform the commander OOCly. We don't object to RPing but when it crosses over into OOC we get upset. Thus we have instituted this policy so that discussion may occur at least with the fleet commander rather than the whole fleet getting really pissed at you. Makes the RP fun for everyone this way.
