www.kaydarafilm.com/kaydara_menu_english.htmlThis is an upcoming fan made Matrix film that is professionally done. If you watch the trailers you'll think this is actually for a feature film they are so well done. What it's about it is this This story takes place in the universe of the Wachowski brothers' film 'The Matrix'. Kaydara, a bounty hunter who is living separately from the Human Resistance Group, does not believe in the prophecy of the 'chosen one' . He thinks this 'saviour' is a threat to the awakening of Man's self-awareness. He considers the 'chosen one' as his enemy and if they cross paths, will not hesitate to confront him. On this site there's the 2 trailers and a behind the scenes look at how they shot one scene real professional stuff.

Well I watched Kaydara last night and I'd give it 9 out of 10, only reason it's not 10 out of 10 is cause of the length.

Was very good. I give it 8 out of 10. Mainly as the dubbing was pretty bad and I didn't totally get it. Why was Kydara able to do things like the one? Was it because he believed in himself so much? And why did his brother save Neo then attempt to stab him?

Visually = 10/10 Very professionally done. I wouldn't be surprised if these guys ever get offered to work at a movie studio or something. The whole thing was very impressive
Story = 3/10 ...What was that? Like, Mary Sue; the movie.
Lol seriously, nothing in that movie made sense. The fact that Kaydara can use One-like powers is impossible, for the simple fact that the powers Neo has have been given by the machines themselves, so he could lead a handful of Zionites through the destruction of Zion and to the new version of the system.. They wouldn't have given someone else's these powers just for the lol. And why can he use them in The Real? The only thing Neo could influence there was machinery, simply because a side-effect from the One powers was the ability to affect machines in the Real too, since his powers are machine abilities. But he couldn't punch down a wall, even less fly. In the Real, Neo was just a man who could sense and disable machines. So the fact Kaydara can do so much more just makes no sense.
And the Agents. Did he forget that Agents have no emotion (you often see them smirk, smile, express fear or surprise). The only Agent who could was Smith, because he had an anomaly, a personality quirk - which caused him to go against the system when he was deleted. Agents are robotic, they never express anything. And did he also forget that Agents can dodge bullets and flying swords? He makes them look like petty annoyances rather than the killing machines that they are. He could've just used random exiles or something.
Also, did anyone else notice how Kaydara and his brother have no port on their skin whatsoever? When he's sleeping shirtless at the beginning, you see a full view of his back, torso and arms, and he doesn't have a single hole. How does he connect to the Matrix?
And in the Real, why is the surface so barren of machines? In the movies, they keep saying going to the surface is very risky, because the earth is swarming with squids and more. But not one is seen throughout the story, and they even hint that humans have scavenge operations right out in the open in broad daylight.
And the kill-code for Neo? Yeah, I doubt even Zion or the Merovigian has Neo's code data necessary to make a kill-code like that, so i doubt a few rogue humans have it. And did he like... just forget that to jack out you need to use a hardline, not a cell phone? I just laughed when Neo ran right passed a hardline to head to his own exit, and the exit turns out to be a cell phone on a table xD
The fight with Neo was really cool though, and i'm glad he lost on that one. That 3D model he used for the fight was very impressive, even more than I would've imagined.
Overall, unimpressed by the story - there were way too many inconsistencies - but it was good eyecandy.

I just laughed when Neo ran right passed a hardline to head to his own exit, and the exit turns out to be a cell phone on a table xD That seems plausible to me, my interpretation was that Hardlines are phone lines that Zionists had "Coded" to allow them to jack in and out of the matrix using them as a portal. You couldn't just jack in and out of any phone booth in the city. So I guess it's sort of possible to use a cell phone to do it. Besides, he's the fucking one, he doesn't play by the rules.

Dee, your completly right. If they can make a movie in this quality, they should have researched it a bit better too. There are just too many and too obvious mistakes.
When looking at Switch and Apoc from the first movie aren't you supposed to die when someone pulls the plug while jacked in.
Looks amazing but the story... that is just wrong!

When looking at Switch and Apoc from the first movie aren't you supposed to die when someone pulls the plug while jacked in.! Yeah! The guy just agonized there for 5 minutes before eventually dying. When he moved again after being unplugged, I was like "ok, he's going too far...". You're supposed to drop dead right on the spot lol And Ceege was right about something else, that I forgot to mention. Why did his brother kill Kaydara to protect the One, to just jump into the simulation himself (after being implied numerous times in the movie that he can't), and try to kill Neo himself? Made no sense.

Wow! I come back and everyone is posting! Lol Nice!
"Besides, he's the frellingg one, he doesn't play by the rules" - LOL xD. Very nice Pylat.
I thought it was a good movie. Nice find Rycus. I agree with most of what has been said. I can get past most of the inconsistencies, however, i was totally lost by the ending and didnt like it. Really they should have just ended it with him pulling the plug on his brother. Or the brother jacking it. Definitely couldn't have both in my opinion.
And as far as his abilities...yeah they were a little outrageous. But i guess they were trying to go with the whole, "belief in yourself is the greatest power" which is fine, I could run with idea for most of the movie. However, I thought it would have been "cooler" if he was ...."normal", for a lack of a better word, going up against the one. I feel like that would be a good story line. I like it better when the fights have more of an underdog. Not so much, "look at my crazy awesome powers! "
As far as him staying alive after his jack was pulled....I thought Neo was keeping him alive... >.> lol, might just be my brain trying to rationalize lol, I guess he could have just been holding him up.
Anyway, I thought that they could have done a lot more with the storyline. I think it definitely took a back seat to their awesome visuals lol. Overall, 8 out of 10.
