I would like to role play for a little bit to give Stephanie's character EichDee a send off that she deserves. I think it's fitting that she have her character have one last hurrah, as it was something she loved doing with us, and we enjoyed our role plays with her. I know I did. Feel free to have an intoruction in your first post, and then engaging in the role play if you wish. This is for EichDee and I would like her to play a central role... I will return to make a first post when I have a solid idea...

A large thud could be heard when the HvCFT Tiger set down in an old abandoned sewer system. But nothing could be seen by the naked eye. The optical camouflage system installed by First Mate EichDee was a stroke of genius. Very handy in a sentinel attack. It allowed the ship to remain undetected at broadcast depth.
Onboard there were 5 chairs. each with a person sitting in them. Valaro. Captain of the Tiger and head of Black Operations at New Zion. EichDee, Valaro's First Mate and most trusted ally. Karaa, fastest operative inside the Matrix, Ceege, a man who's resolve is unparalleled and Pylat, Master Sniper for New Zion. All connected to them was a series of monitors a machines that allowed their minds to hack into The Matrix. The only other person onboard was Ocelet. A female Operator in charge of relaying information and supply drops and communicating with other ships where necessary.
Of course it was all about where their minds were...Inside the artificial reality known as The system or The Matrix. The Machines way of enslaving the entire human populace for energy, by making them believe that the dream world they live in is reality. If only they knew.
Uriah Southwest
Valaro stood at the hardline. As he had done a million times over. His crew all standing around waiting for orders. He couldnt give them until Ocelet had a location on the target. His phone rang. He picked it up
"Go. Couldnt you have dropped us closer? Their watching the Hardlines? Roger that. Snipers? Ok, then send Pylat to Tabour Park West, he can flush em out. Ok, Valaro out."
Valaro: Ok, we have the targets. A group of Red eyed agents who call themselves The Legacy of Code. They have apparently issued a threat that they intend to kill one Zionite Operative, without stating who or why. All they have said is that they want to, talk, with Zion to try and make a truce. They claim to have a kill code, similar to the one I used 4 years ago on Agent Norris. Now they have given us a 3 day deadline, that if we don't speak to them and open negotiation's and have come to a settlement with them, they will kill the Operative.
Eichdee: Come on Val, you can let some rouge red eyes tell us what to do? Send me Kar and Pylat in there and well take em all down. I hear a swift kick to the head does the trick. Besides no one messes with us, right Kar?
Karaa: Oh they really picked the wrong day to mess with Zion, but I gotta ask Val, why are WE here? They could have easily sent the Catzi Kittens after this one, isn't that usually their job?
Valaro: It is. But for some strange reason the agents have asked for the crew of Tiger by name. Everyone except for Pylat was mentioned. I have no idea how they know about us as our policy is full clean up and where that isn't possible. Scorched Earth protocol.
Eichdee: Wait, they asked for us by name? And we came into the simulation knowing this? Val, I gotta admit, even for you this is a little out there, and you know that even if you pull rank, Im not going to just sit by and watch you put us all at risk, like you did when the CYPH's almost killed the entire crew. So what the hell?
Valaro: Dee, your input is welcome any time! Especially today. But I wouldn't have come anywhere near The Matrix, knowing that but I have to say, this comes all the way from Commander Roland;s office. I cant override on this.
EichDee: Didn't you think to initiate, Operation Exodus?
Karaa: *Gasp* Dee, do you think?
Eichdee: I do Kar. The entire-
Valaro:- I know you think thats best, but with every operation going on inside The Matrix right now, do you really think this is best to have every single agent of Zion and new Zion pull out of the simulation and for us to just abandon everything? All the Intel we have, all the safe houses, everything gone! For one Operative?
EichDee: As stupid as it sounds, I think it depends on the Operative. Tell me we have all high priority Agents out of the System and back home safe?
Valaro: Except you and I Dee. We are the only two heads of departments not back in New Zion. But the chances they even know of our importance is slim. So lets just head to Tabour Tower and see what we can do to try and resolve this peacefully.

Skyscream sat staring at the tunnel walls from her Captains chair on the deck of the HVCFT Format C. The ever present hum of the engines was relaxing and added to the Zen like feeling she always got when sitting in her chair. She wasn't sure how long she was sitting there and staring blankly out the windshield, as she liked to call it, but when the voice of Format C suddenly broke the silence she nearly jumped out of her skin.
"I just intercepted something." Formats deep masculine voice broke the silence. "It's weird."
"What do you mean ... weird?" Sky rubbed her eyes a little as she focused back on reality.
"The Tiger got some orders to do a run from Roland." Format sounded a little distracted but without a body to give off body language it was hard for Skyscream to tell. "It's overkill. The mission is a truce negotiation. Why would Roland himself order the Tiger to take care of it?"
"That is weird." Skyscream paused in thought. "Even for the Pride those folks are bad ass. Problem solvers."
"Yeah. I don't like it." Format sighed. "It's weird."
"You already said that." Skyscream suddenly stood up and turned to the Jack Chairs in a semi circle just behind the operator station. "Contact Telemancer if you can. Ask him to be resourceful and meet me in the matrix if he's able. We'll pick him up later if required."
"Understood." Format began the automated systems to aid his Captain in entering the Matrix. "All systems are go for Jack-In."
"Contact Valaro." Skyscream layed down in her favorite chair. "Discretely! His ears only. Let him know we have his back if he needs it. Remember. We don't want to screw this up."
"Understood." Format almost sounded offended and mumbled quietly through the speakers. "It was one time. Geez."
"This is Valaro's operation." Skyscream reminded her program friend. "Not ours. I'm only going in as back up. We follow his lead."
"Should I try to locate the Tiger out here?" Format asked as machinery whirred into life to Jack his Captain into the system.
"Phh. Giving you an analog brain clearly messed up your memory." Skyscream chuckled as the code gripped her mind and reality changed. "If they're running a mission you'll never find them."

Karaa frowned as a nagging feeling twisted her gut, like she wasn’t seeing the whole picture. As if she just needed that one piece of crucial information and she could see everything, “I don’t like this. Asking for us by name. Roland agreeing to the terms. We need to be cautious, somethings not right.”
She took a deep breath and smirked, “We’ll lets’ get this sorted so we can head to polyvinyl. I hear there is a new DJ playing tonight.” She conspiratorially bumped shoulders with EichDee and threw a wink at Valaro and Ceege.
EichDee gave Karaa a genuine smile, relieved that she was getting back to her old self after everything that had happened with Danny and Thanatos. She had been worried about the other woman, they all had been. Perhaps she was finally getting through to Karaa about letting the past rest.
Karaa waggled her eyes brows at her friends as she asked, “Anyone want to take bets on who is going to make it to Tabor first?”
EichDee smirked and rolled her eyes at Karaa, “You wish, Kar.”
Karaa smiled at the comment, her gaze dancing across the surrounding buildings as her humorous demeanor faded, "I really don't like that they asked for us by name."
"Neither do I." Agreed EichDee.
Valaro sighed quietly, clearly he agreed as well,"But we have our orders, lets get it done."

Valaro began walking towards the massive shipyards of Uriah. Massive warehouses and shipping containers in every direction. It was evening and visibility was low. It would be impossible to know if they were being watched. But as always, this didn't stop him or the Tigers crew from doing what they did best. Getting the mission done.
Beep - Valaro's cell phone went of.
Skyscream: Val, this is Skyscream, I heard reports on the comm chatter that you guys are onto something that came from Roland himself?
Valaro: Sky, you and I both know that even if it was true, I cant talk to you about anything like that.
EichDee: Wow, wow is there ever a time where Sky doesn't get information? I mean come on she has got to be the best eavesdropper in Zion right?
Karra: New Zion!
Eichdee: Whatever!
Karaa: I've told you a hundred times already, you know that New Zi...
Valaro raised his hand, signifying the two women to stop.
Valaro: Sky I understand where your coming from on this, but I highly doubt that the threat can be taken serious...
Skyscream: It came from Roland. Either you are his new lapdog or he hasn't told you everything Val.
Valaro: Well have I ever let anyone treat me like a lapdog? I actually told Roland to go fuck himself the last time he tried to use Tiger for one of his lesser errands.
Skyscream: Then its the latter and a little backup couldn't hurt!
Valaro: Sigh. Sky Well meet you in Tabour Park West. 15 minutes.
Valaro put the cell into the pocket of his purple trench. Eichdee and Karaa both swung around him as he turned and stopped him with their hands.
Eichdd: wow there cap. we gotta have words.
Karaa: Yeah, were not stupid. Even you know there is more going on here than some random Red Eyes running around. Now what's up!?
Valaro, removed his shades. Put them in his pocket and closed his eyes. He was unsure. He didn't know why Roland had sent them. He put his hands to his head and started to think.
Valaro: I'm going to go there and see what's going on. At the first sign of trouble well get Ocelet to try out the new EJP. It needs a field test.
Ceege: Ah that old program me and dee put together? I thought New Zion weren't letting us try it out for another few months?
Eichdee: Oh please, they know its ready for field testing! Council just want to try and pass it off as their idea to the rest of the redpills. Like that will happen!
Valaro: I may have convinced Roland to let us take it IF something went wrong. Hes not happy about the fact that redpills cannot re-enter the Matrix for 2 hours after though due to the decay in the code structure of the RSI's.
Eichdee: Yeah I'm sure we can work that out pretty quickly, if the Council hadn't taken it from us so damn quick!
Karaa: Yawn! Can we go? I haven't kicked some ass in a week! Just praying we run into some Exiles, wanna kick their ass!
Eichdee: UH wasn't I Miss Blood-lust?
Karaa: A girl has urges Dee! Title is still yours!
Valaro: Ok enough stalling. Lets get outta here. We got 13 minutes to meet up with Sky.

Skyscream ran down a narrow alley as quick as she could. Before long she would be at Tabor Park. As she ran her mind ran through a quick mental checklist. A pair of uzi's in quick draw holsters behind her back, a .45 caliber pistol strapped to each thigh, a throwing knife strapped to each forearm, and finally a pair of grenades in each pocket of the long black trench coat she wore over it all. There wasn't much else she could easily carry in terms of weaponry and still seem like just another harmless civilian.
Her mind wandered as her feet carried her through the alley ways of Megacity. The crew of the Tiger were professionals. She knew this all too well from the talks she and Catzi used to have by the old fountain downtown. She wasn't sure exactly how she would fit in for this mission. Showing her face at the meeting might not be a good idea since she wasn't invited to this party by the bad guys. Backup is always good though.
The incomplete message Format C intercepted was too easy. Even with all the monitoring programs Format had, lurking quietly in New Zions systems, only the mention of a ship in the alliance and the names of the majority of it's crew would cause the silent watchful programs to flag it for immediate review. Sky wished she had time for a quick call to the master of information, the Merovingian, simply to see if he had a clue about what was going on while trying not to give anything away. There was no time though. The information came too late for dangerous word games with the Frenchman.
Tabor Park West came into sight in the distance. Skyscream scanned the rooftops and alleyways and she slowed to a jog as she travelled towards the rendezvous point before easing to a walk to remain inconspicuous. She stopped suddenly across the street and leaned nonchalantly against a public post office box and pulled out her phone to play with it. While her attention appeared to be on typing a message into the phone her eyes were scanning the area discretely. Hide in plain sight. Wait. Seemed simple enough.

Meanwhile at the Other side of Tabour Park ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was quiet. Even for Tabour at this time of day, it was too quiet. Of course there were blue pills all over, doing this and that. It was Fall, and leaves were littering the ground like a golden sheet of cloth. The weather was nice, meaning Sati the Matrix's Weather Control Program was safe and in good hands. The sun was setting over the MegaCity. There was an odd sound. Not the usual sounds of horns, gunfire and sirens, but instead it was a digital sound. In the distance a falling code stream could be seen to the north. It was green and couldn't be read by the naked eye. Except by the repills, those awakened from the Matrix. Housing projects covered the entire area. This was one of the more richer areas of Richland as it was so ironically named for being one of the poorest besides the district of Westview.
Valaro walked along the main plaza in front of Tabour Tower, a place he had been many times in the past. Lots of history had happened here for him. His secret meetings with Catzi, his court martial of EichDee. Where he fought the powerful program WarAngel, and had been taken to be given his first command on-board the HvCFT Tiger and where he once game to contemplate his future with The Pride of Zion, when the Agents had set him up, narrowly escaping death due to Pylat and EichDee.
Valaro picked up his cell and dialled a number. It went to a voicemail service.
"I'm calling in an favour. It doesn't matter that we haven't spoken in over a year and I want you to know that this is big. After I saved your life you owe me this one. Be at the spot where I saved you and be ready if something goes wrong. Valaro, out."
Valaro raised his hand and switched to a fist sign. At that Karaa, EichDee & Ceege all walked into the open area around the plaza and proceeded into the foye of Tabour Tower, an old building that housed banks and several supply drops for New Zion. Their mission would lead them to the very top of the tower overlooking the city.

((Sorry for the length! I was trying to give others an 'in' to the story if they wanted it. If you would like to join and were unsure how to insert your Character, assume you got a call for Kar, Ceege, or Eichdee to join the party!))
Karaa had her back pressed against the cool surface of a concrete building as she watched her captain move into the open plaza of Tabor Tower. Her gaze was calculating as she watched Valaro, her whole body tense with the prospect of an ambush. She should have been the one out there, taking the first steps to make sure someone wasn't going to put a bullet in their heads once they showed up. Valaro and EichDee were the only ones in the matrix right now with any kind of real authority in New Zion. This could all be a setup, just to get them out in the open with minimal fanfare. Karaa ground her teeth together in silent denial, over her dead body would she let anything happen to either of them. Over the years, they had all become close. Karaa considered both of them family and would do anything to keep them safe, just as they would for her. Just as they had. Both Valaro and EichDee had pulled Karaa back from the brink multiple times from real foes and her own inner demons.
The whole Tiger crew had been through so much together, bonded by their shared experiences, goals and appreciation for one another. Their love for one another. Beyond their amazing talents and skills, this bond was one of the reasons they were so successful, they knew each other so well that many times, barely a gesture was needed to communicate. Making them seem unpredictable to the uninitiated.
When Valaro picked up his cell phone and bought it to his ear, Karaa's appraising gaze cut over to EichDee and Ceege as she arched a delicate eyebrow indicating Valaro's impromptu phone call. Both her comrades shrugged. Karaa frowned.
Valaro was known for his intricate and enigmatic plans, that always kept the enemy 15 steps behind...as well as everyone else. His maze like mind, made him an excellent captain. Allowing him to see even the most subtle of plans and counter them with brutal efficiency.
Karaa nodded to EichDee and Ceege, fishing out her own cellphone. EichDee nodded and whispered to Ceege before mouthing the words to Karaa, "Lets get some backup." She could see EichDee and Ceege making phone calls of their own to the crew's life long friends. The tiger crew could just be overly cautious calling in for backup, but better have and not need it and need it and not have it.
Karaa nodded and punched in the numbers that would connect her to her long time friend and pride faction mate. It rang once before Rycus voice shouted into her ear, clearly shouting over the hard beat of the blaring music on his end of the line.
"Ry its Kar." Karaa did her best to keep her voice pitched low but with enough volume so that Rycus could hear her over the music. "We're on mission. Could use some backup that is out of sight. I'm sending you the coordinates." Karaa nodded and smirked, "If you can pull yourself away from your spin table and them mad beats, yo." Karaa aimed for levity, which was typical when she was on edge, even though she was sure she sounded like a total white girl. Maybe Caius' humor was really starting to rub off on her. Speaking of which.
Karaa cut the line and left a brief message for Caius, just as Valaro gave the sign. They all walked into the open plaza, flanking Valaro.
Valaro looked over his shoulder at his crew and simply said, "Lets go." They all moved in unison and entered the building swiftly and with a practiced grace that spoke of experience. Leaving nothing to chance no hiding spot or possible advantaged was overlooked.
As the group walked into the main lobby of the tower, Karaa's eyes kept dancing along the walls, ceilings, any surface in the immediate environment that could tell her something. Why would they pick this building? This building had New Zion drops. Wouldn't the agents want a place where they had the advantage? The familiarity? Karaa paused in her mental assessment, unless the agents were already familiar with the building? How? Or were they trying to ease us into a fall sense of safety?
Karaa sighed quietly and gave herself a mental shake, or could also be that they like the view. Karaa thought wirly.
Valaro walked up to the elevator and pushed the button that would call the elevator to them. EichDee and Ceege stood facing the lobby, their backs to Karaa and Valaro as the group waited for the elevator.
Karaa leaned nonchalantly against the wall, facing Valaro. Her postured appeared relax but to anyone that knew her, they would see the subtle tells that spoke of a different story.
"What are the chances these Red Eyes are really interested in peace?" Karaa asked Valaro. EichDee and Ceege tilted their heads to the side clearly listening to the conversation.
"Maybe they just want to carve out a piece of the world for themselves." Ceege offered.
"When has anything ever been that simple." EichDee countered, "Plus, they don't need us, specifically, for that." EichDee emphasized the word specifically once again reminding the crew that this gig wasn't one of their choosing, that their performance had been requested.
Valaro glanced over at Karaa and raised his eyebrows as if to say, what do you think?
Karaa sighed dramatically, "That's what I thought. Why don't you ever take me anywhere nice, Capt'?"
The elevator dinged, announcing its arrival. The doors opened as if offering salvation to those who had been left in the dark too long, slowly and quietly so not to spook.

The crew walked into the elevator and press P. The doors slowly creaked closed and the elevator made its way slowly upwards. There was music playing. Eichdee and Ceege had their weapons drawn. All of the members stood silently as the elevator ascended. There was an awkward silence.
So uh, hows that new project coming Dee? Valaro said in a humorous tone.
Quicker than this elevator that's sure! With that everyone let out a cry of laughter as they couldn't contain the hilariousness of the awkward silence in that elevator. Valaro wiping a tear from his eye, looked to see they were almost at the penthouse.
Ok, enough, were here. I've called in a favor from an old friend, but you guys alread-
Yeah we know, you think were dumb Val? Said Eichdee in her usual insubordinate, but lighthearted way.
You know Dee, if you weren't my First Mate, you wouldn't get away with so much - Valaro stated in a commanding but humorous tone.
Jeez Cap, careful you dont blow a vein, I can see it in your forehead! Laughed Karaa
Yeah Cap is that a grey i see in that purple hair of yours!? retorted Ceege
Oh haha, you guys are funny as hell! Ok fun times over, were here.
The lift doors creaked open, and the light from the elevator was the only light lighting the room. No one could be seen as soon as they opened. Looking into the room all that could be seen was 16 Red dots. AGENTS!They immediately opened fire on the elevator ripping the wood apart and the glass mirrors smashing onto the floor. The elevator doors closed... Silence... No one could have survived that.

The doors to the elevator opened in an almost silent swish, the room was completely dark, the light from the elevator spilled out in front of them stopping to highlight all the boxes that seemed to litter the room. Some stacked as high as the ceiling while others were simply left in haphazard places along the floor. Valaro gave a quick hand gesture that signaled the group to move out. They all moved forward as one, Valaro in the center, Karaa and EichDee flanking him and Ceege bringing up the rear. After being in the lit elevator, adjusting to the dark took longer than any of them would like. The elevator light only went so far, blocking its illumination from the rest of the room were the stacks of boxes and other items.
Why is there so much crap in here? Karaa thought to herself as she lightly pressed up against a tower of plastic bins and cardboard boxes.
Nothing could be seen. No movement. Nothing. The Tiger held their collective breaths, waiting for a sign when the elevator across the way opened, spilling light into the pent house floor. The backs of 8 figures were clearly outline a second before they opened fire on the elevator; the doors had barely begun to open.
Overkill, someone must really want us out of the picture.
“Last time I ever complain about Karaa’s paranoia.” Ceege whispered as the agents continued to rip the elevator apart.
“Being cautious is not paranoia. You can never be too careful, obviously.” Karaa hissed in response, “That’s why we take the service elevator off the side of the lobby.” She added indignantly nodding to the agents that just finished utterly destroying the main elevator to the room. With the added light, they could see this floor was still under construction. Great. This is why the red eyes chose this location.
The room grew quiet again as the agents advanced on the elevator. Valaro glanced over at Karaa and mouth the words, "I owe you one. "
Karaa replied just as silently, “More than one, Capt.”
Valaro smirked in response before peeking over the boxes, that were serving as their cover.
Ceege gestured to the elevator behind them, “quick exit?”
Karaa shook her head, “we wouldn’t make it down to the next floor, let alone the lobby.”
Eichdee nodded her agreement, “We can use the floor layout to our advantage here, we don’t want to give them anything, putting us in a small confined elevator, “ Eichdee shook her head, “ that’s giving them a whole lot. Kar’s right, we wouldn’t make it. Its time to show these assholes why you don’t mess with the tiger.” EichDee pull her pair of guns from inside her jacket and took aim at the red eye closest to her.
Valaro grinned dangerously, “Permission to engage? Granted.”
((The line "more than one" is actually a line from Mass Effect 3. FYI.)

Club Hel, not the most inviting place and definitely not his kind of people, but money was money after all. He'd taken the job as a favor for a friend who was under the weather, and that just meant he owed him one big time. But for now he'd just play this last song and then jack out and have a nice relaxing time back on the ship.
He was a little surprised when his phone started buzzing. People knew not to call him unless it was an emergency while he was working. So urgency gripped him when he pulled his phone out of his pocket and saw it was Karaa calling.
The call was brief but with enough information to fill him with dread. He told her he would be there as soon as humanly possible.
As soon as he had hung up the phone he felt someone tap his shoulder. Turning around he saw the Merovingian standing there.
"I just wanted to thank you for filling in tonight, and to let you know that favors like this are always repaid " he said.
"Thank you sir" Rycus said stunned. "If you ever need me to fill in again just let me know and I'll gladly do it " I said knowing that it's best to keep a customer happy.
The Merovingian just smiled and said "we'll then I shall look forward to seeing you again soon. I see your set is almost over so I shall let you get your things picked up, and next time I shall be the one to call you and not your friend. Have a nice evening Mr. Allen" and walked away.
The song was over so he grabbed his stuff introduced the next DJ and hurried out the door. As soon as he was in the elevator he whipped out his phone to call the ship.
"Tannis, we've got trouble. I need a quick exit and then I need you to put me as close to the location I'm gonna send you, after I get loaded out. "
"We'll there's an exit a block away from where you are now and I'll find the closest hardline I can to where you want to go as soon as you send me the details" Tannis said.
"Sounds good. I'll hang up and send you the data now. Talk to you in a minute."
He sent him the location and took off in a sprint for the hardline. The next thing he knew he was in the loading area. Rows of weapons stood before him. He grabbed four pistols, two shotguns and a couple semi-autos.
Filling the holsters on each leg, and stuffing the remaining pistols in the back of his waist band (with the safety's on, didn't need to shoot himself in the butt while doing this). Then he slung a semi-auto strap over each shoulder and then threw on his trench coat. Lastly he put one of the shotguns up his sleeve and grabbed the other one.
He readied himself mentally then said, "Let's go"
Well Tannis has really outdone himself this time, he thought to himself as he realized he had landed right in front of where he wanted to be. He entered the building and quickly glanced at the elevators. One was at ground level and the other one was at the top.
He pushed the button to open the doors to the elevator on the ground floor and got in. He located the button that said P on it and pressed it knowing that had to be the right floor. He was halfway up when he heard the guns going off.
This can't be good he thought to himself. He stood facing the doors with the free shotgun aimed at the door ready to fire as soon as it opened.....

Skyscream landed with a thud on the rooftop near the target building. Her feet were propelling her forward in a sprint almost before they hit.
"What are you doing?" Her operators voice sounded loud in her ear. "You're attracting attention."
"Something's wrong." Skyscream lept high into the air again as she reached the edge of the roof. The target building was one more jump away. "I can feel it. What floor are they on?"
"The top." The voice said simply.
"Of course." Skyscream breathed out as she marshalled her strength and lept up with every ounce of strength she had. As she soared up she pulled one of the uzi's out from behind her back. Her eyes widened as she approached the building. "Crap. Not gonna make it.."
Skyscream crashed into the side of the building and the impact knocked the uzi out of her hands. Her mind dismissed that as it compelled her hands and feet to desperately claw at the edges of the buildings facade to insure she stayed put. Wind whistled past as Skyscream looked down and then back up from her precarious position. She was close. One floor down.
"I've done better." She mumbled to herself before grimacing and clambering up the exterior of the building. As she reached the penthouse floor she peeked carefully through one of the few windows. A big wooden box completely blocked the view. "That complicates things. Also kind of weird."
As she pondered that, perched on the side of the building high above the streets, gunfire suddenly erupted from within the building.
"Time for an entrance." Skyscream breathed deeply and drew the other uzi she had stashed behind her back. She fired a short burst to shatter the glass and kicked the box out of the way before throwing herself into the dark room beyond. The angle of her entrance as she dived into a roll took her quickly out of the sunlight. Bullets racked across the floor close behind her. Unconsciously she mumbled to herself as she rolled to her feet and skittered to the side suddenly behind some metal crates containing who knows what. "Shit, shit, shit, shit."

Chaos.
Small pieces of boxes and of the wall hung loosely in the air before falling to the floor, voices called out into the pent house, some directives, others expletives. Karaa dove behind a flimsily stacked bunch of boxes and cursed under her breath. Valaro had slowly advanced into the room while the rest of the crew did their best to cover his quick forward pace. This plan of attack quickly fell apart as the crew scattered. In the report to New Zion it will likely say they chose a divide and conquer tactic, when it really was a knock down, scrappy fight for their lives.
The service elevator they had used to enter the room beeped softly, reminding Karaa that it was an added vulnerability to their current position, where before it had been a saving grace. She trained her guns on the door, ready to rip whoever or whatever to shreds. The door opened slowly and Rycus stepped out with shotgun aimed. He hesitated one moment, seemingly taking in the chaos that was the fight.
Karaa looked up just in time to see a red eyed agent narrow its focus on Rycus. Karaa launched herself forward and tackled the larger man back into the elevator as the agent opened fire on the spot he had just occupied. Pieces of the wall flew into the elevator as Karaa picked up her head to make sure they were all in one piece. Rycus groaned, having taken the brunt of the fall himself.
“Jesus, Karaa.” He muttered.
“You’re welcome,” Karaa smirked, “now, ready to get the hell out of the elevator?”
“If this is the fight in the elevator, I’m not sure I want to see what’s going on in the main room.”
Karaa didn’t answer him, instead she pushed off his chest and once straightened, she offered her hand. He accepted it and together they rolled out of the elevator guns ready. The Agent that had almost taken them out was now engaged in one to one combat with EichDee. The agent was dodging her attempts to put a bullet in his skull.
Karaa took a deep breath before running forward, using her momentum to slide to her knee as her right leg swung out, taken the agent to floor before he could land a blow to EichDee’s side. EichDee used the opening to put a bullet in their opponent’s head. EichDee grab Karaa under her arm and pulled her up, “Nice one.”
Karaa grinned at her friend as they both took cover behind some metal crates. “How many left?” Karaa shouted over the noise of the fray.
“Too many! Val and I took one out, so I think there are six left.”
Karaa nodded peeking out from cover to confirm that count just as the window behind the two operatives exploded. Karaa and EichDee flipped onto their backs ready to open fire, when a figure crashed through the window and then rolled next to them in the cover of the crates.
“That’s a hell of an entrance, Sky!” EichDee shouted.
Karaa convinced that they were no longer being attacked from the outside, turned her attention back to the center of the room. Two agents were advancing on their position. Karaa took a deep breath, then another, and one more. The chaos of the fight, the adrenaline, fell away, only a clear objective truth of the situation remained. Karaa rolled to the side, out of cover and fired two shots that the agent on the right dodged. Karaa used his focus on the bullets to launch herself forward; her leg kicked out and connected with the agent’s chest, sending him crashing into his compatriot.
EichDee cursed, “Karaa!” She knew that look, how Karaa’s bright green eyes seemed to turn to a dull silver. Ever since that fight with thanatos and Danny…Karaa was never really herself, never really able to come back fully to the woman she was before. Not that EichDee blamed her. She felt that karaa was walking a line. A very fine line but Karaa was starting to come back to them. However, if something happened before the woman had time to properly heal, EichDee feared that they would lose Karaa forever to that machine like part of her mind.
EichDee and SkyScream rushed forward to assist in taking down the two agents. EichDee squeezed the triggers of her duel pistols, the red eyed agent easily dodged but Sky was there with her weapon, unloading into the agent as it attempted to dodge the numerous bullets.
Meanwhile, Karaa threw her emptied guns to the floor and advanced on her opponent. Her speed allowing her to land serval hits. Valaro, Ceege, Ang, and Rycus, guns firing, slowly backed up, creating a line of fire between the remaining four red eyed agents and the two currently engaged with the rest of the team.
"Could use a little help!" Ceege shouted over the gun fire.
"One moment." Karaa answered breathlessly, as she continued to land and avoid hits from the agent in front of her.
"Moment?" EichDee asked, equally out of breath, but with a sarcasm that could not be missed, "We're going to need to more than a moment."
The agent give a single nod of agreement, "That is a correct assessment."
Skyscream rolled her eyes and bit out, "save it!"
They had the numbers, but red-eye agents were just as difficult to defeat as the agents that guarded the system.
In other words, the situation was....FUBAR.

"Save it." Skyscream tossed her empty Uzi aside and charged at the Red-Eyed Agent her and Eichdee had managed to wound in a flurry of lead.
She ducked and weaved as the agent threw a flurry of punches and managed to get a solid kick into the programs knee as Eichdee reloaded in the blink of an eye. The agent toppled forward and rolled inhumanly fast to the side in the same moment Eichdee pulled the trigger. The agent was on it's feet in a heartbeat with the agility of a cat. Skyscream was already on him though and smashed him in the face with an elbow before kneeing him hard in the gut and twisting to the side of him as he bent over. His forehead met the barrel of Eichdee's weapon in the same moment she pulled the trigger. Blood and brains splattered out the back of his head covering Sky in a twisted abstract pattern of red.
A quick glance told her all she needed to know. Karaa was still engaged with the other agent. Eichdee was already turning to help her fight him. A short distance away the rest of the team was attempting to keep the other agents away with an impressive hail of gunfire. Skyscream reached into the pockets of her black leather jacket and pulled out two of the four grenades she brought.
"FIRE IN THE HOLE!!" She bellowed a moment before pulling the pins of both grenades with her teeth. She pitched them, one at each pairing of agents engaging the rest of the team, with deadly accuracy. She ignored the Agent fighting with Eichdee and Karaa, confident in their abilities, and ran forward in a bit of a blur towards one of the remaining pairs before the grenades even landed. She dove to the ground a mere moment later to slide behind some crates like she was stealing third base as the grenades exploded. She clambered to her feet and kept low as fire and metal impacted with the crates she was now hiding behind.
She had no idea how everyone else was doing but now they weren't all concentrated in one spot for the Agents to pick apart.
Skyscream breathed deeply and took quick stock.
She had two grenades, a pair of hidden .45's, and a big ass knife.
She pulled the handguns out and, still crouching close to the ground, began firing blindly in the general direction of where she thought the agents were over the flaming crates. Quickly she glanced back to where she had come from. Karaa and Eichdee were nowhere in sight. The agent they had been fighting lay dead on the floor. She could see Val and Rycus from her spot as they reloaded and began firing again from the crates they found cover behind.
Skyscream frowned in thought as she fired a few more rounds over the crates, without looking, before reloading with the only two magazines she brought for the pistols.
Who would want the crew of the Tiger dead ... and why ...

Four left.
Four.
EichDee took a deep breath, it shuddered out of her body on the exhale. The Tiger had been in worse situations but this was still bad. This was a trap. A trap for them. With no back up coming. Why?
Karaa landed roughly behind her. EichDee almost didn't make it time. Almost. Karaa was holding her own with the red eye agent but there was no way the other woman would have found cover in time from the explosion. EichDee had just cleared the boxes as Karaa had landed an upper cut, causes the agent's head to jerk right into EichDee's waiting gun barrel. She had just enough time to pull the trigger and tackle Karaa behind some boxes that offered flimsy cover in the confined space.
The explosions were deafening. Her ears were still ringing.
Both women were breathing heavy, the wind coming from the blown out windows offering some comfort to their overheated bodies. The side of Karaa's face was covered in blood and dirt. EichDee was sure that she did not fair better.
Karaa breathed out roughly before looking over their cover to see their comrades fighting the remaining agents, "Fuck."
EichDee looked over at her and smiled, "ready for round two?"
Karaa sighed and looked at EichDee, "When the fuck did we move into round two?"
EichDee gave her a wiry smile, the green in Karaa's eyes seemed to be more bright, the grey receding a bit. As if someone had hit rewind they seemed to be slowly sucked back into her pupil.
"Just now!"
EichDee popped out of cover and pulled the triggers of her dual weapons, they jumped in her hands as the rapid staccato of their discharged seemed to beat out a discorded rhythm. Background music to the destruction poring out around them. The windows were blown out from Skyscream's generates, the crew was dispersed throughout the penthouse suite.
Karaa rolled forward until she was next to Ceege, peaking from the forward position as EichDee covered her advance.
Karaa gave Ceege a wink before rolling left to the outside of the room, planning on flanking them from behind. Ceege gave a sharp nod, shouting, "I hope you have a plan" before providing additional covering fire. The agents were more spread out now. With two focusing on Valaro and Rycus, and one each on Skyscream and Ceege.
Karaa smirked as she made it behind the enemy, hiding behind the toppled over boxes as she muttered under her breath, "when do I not."
"I can think of a few times, actually." EichDee's voice was low and breathless as she came up behind Karaa and peaked over the boxes.
Karaa smiled, "Of course you can."
EichDee smirked, "Ready for round three?"
